What class was the deepest?
The entire Duroc show had very good gilts and just as one class was over it seemed like even more quality came in the next class. Those are the days that you are almost sad that it is over because it is so much fun to evaluate very good gilts.

Toughest placing/call of the day?
The top 5 overall in the Duroc show turned into a very tight call. Each of those class winners and the top end of each class you would have been happy to find and name champion at many shows.

Did any breeds/divisions surprise you? 
When the Berkshire gilt that was champion hit the ring it was a step back and admire kind of moment. She had some really neat features that you don’t always find in a Berkshire.

For you, what was the most memorable moment of the show?
Honestly, being part of the grand drive was an incredible opportunity. To be able to line those up along side of Will And Ryan who I have a great amount of respect for was fun and something I will never forget.

Best part about The Exposition returning to Des Moines?
Being back in Des Moines for the Exposition just felt like we were all back where we were supposed to be. I have been coming Des Moines since I was a kid traveling with my dad and it just felt like old times.
