Tell us a little bit about your champion.
I caught a glimpse of my champion as soon as made his way into the make up ring on the far side. He was the last one through the sift pen and I couldn’t stop staring at him waiting for him to come through. That 5 seconds in the sift pen confirmed everything I was hoping he would be and more! A very very special critter! Kudos to the showman, breeder, and whole crew on getting that one right and as I said on the mic thank you for bringing him to the show because pigs like that make my job easy!

Not really.

What was the toughest class of the day/show?
Definitely the class of blues that the champion and reserve came out of. They didn’t line up in the big ring like I thought they would through the sift pen so that made it more challenging.

For you, what was the most memorable moment of the show?
Seeing my champion trot his way to the sift pen is something I’ll never forget! However I’d say I was incredibly impressed with the quality of handshakes by the youth of Texas! You can tell the kids are definitely raised right in Texas!

What was the best meal you had?
Dr. Pepper shake will always turn my frown upside down!
