What is one pet peeve of yours in the ring?
Chewing gum

When you are judging, what is one thing you wish showman were considerate of?
Always giving extra space to those entering the ring so each showman gets the same clear path to give a good first impression.

What type of showman do you like? (Intense or calm and collected)
Both! It is important to me to be intense without over-showing.

If you could own any kind of vehicle in the world, what would it be?
JEEP Grand Wagoneer

What is the best lesson you were ever taught?
Stop worrying and give it all to God!

When you are traveling to judge, who tags along with you?
I have such a great group who are always willing to hop in for a quick road trip! My mom, grandma, sisters, niece are my most common passengers for most. Seth will get to come with me to NAILE and that will be a lot of fun to have him and the kids there, too.

What is your favorite holiday? Why?
As a parent, I enjoy getting to celebrate the magical time of Christmas with our children.
I (should) probably also mention New Year's Eve is a personal favorite and our wedding anniversary.

What is your background in the swine/livestock industry?
I grew up showing cattle, sheep and hogs in 4-H and FFA then went onto attend Lake Land College & The Ohio State University where I participated on and helped coach the livestock judging teams.

How did you get started?
My earliest memories as a kid were in the barn with my dad!

What are some likes or dislikes you have?
Biggest pet peeve - in or out of the ring - is when people loudly chew and snap their gum!

Favorite Stock Show Trip
Growing up and getting to attend NAILE was always a special trip. I have also loved all the trips I've taken to the National Western and Houston Stock Show; it would be fair to say it is hard for me to pick just one!!
