Hometown: Media, IL
Occupation: Field Staff Manager at TriOak Foods and Owner Operator at Livermore Swine Genetics.
What is your background in the swine/livestock industry?
Partner and Owner at Livermore Swine Genetics which is comprised of 35 sows of multiple breeds
How did you get started?
Started as a 4-H project growing up making rounds at multiple county fairs, and chasing the IL circuit. This so called 4-H project transitioned to a self consuming LIFESTYLE after winning the Illinois State Fair barrow show in 2010. We agreed as a family we wanted to dive head first, and make a name for ourselves.
What are some likes or dislikes you have?
Outside of having a strong dislike for hotdogs; referencing showing livestock, I dislike when a showman clicks at their animal in the ring like a horse.
Brush or Towel?
I’m a Brush girl!
Favorite Food or Restaurant?
Hot Sauce, and anything that pairs with it!
Favorite Sports Team
Kansas City Chiefs
Favorite Song or Band
Long Live Cowgirls by Ian Munsick and Cody Johnson
Favorite Stock Show Trip
The Exposition is always the trip I look forward to the most. |
