What is the first State Fair you judged? Iowa State Fair Open Market Show (2018)
What is the best State Fair Grand Drive you've been a part of?
From a judges perspective, the one listed above was memorable for me since it was my first and my parents drove out to Iowa to watch. Ohio State Fair’s market drive was neat to observe in the Coliseum this past weekend.
What is your favorite state fair food?
It’s hard to beat a Lemon Shake-Up and fresh cut fries soaked in vinegar, ketchup and extra salt.
What is your favorite carnival ride?
I’m not a big fan of carnival rides, but I’d say the Gravitron when I feel like living on the edge.
What is your favorite fair concent/event to watch?
The acts at my county fair growing up weren’t very good. If it counts, Kid Rock and Whiskey Myers have been the best acts I’ve seen (that I remember.)
What is the best carnival prize you have ever won?
I won a red dog stuffed animal after I spent $50 on the ladder climbing game when I was 9. |
