Hometown: Delphi, IN

Occupation: I work for the 4th largest seed corn company in the United States; AgReliant Genetics, as the Learning and Development Lead. I train managers how to be amazing people leaders! I'm also an executive coach for leaders in agriculture.

What is your background in the swine/livestock industry?
I grew up raising and showing Berkshires at our national breed shows and in 4-H. As a past FFA member, livestock & horse judging were my activities. I was able to be on the livestock judging team at Lake Land College before transferring to Purdue University. I enjoy judging livestock showmanship contests throughout the country. Currently, I'm still involved with the Berkshire breed. 

How did you get started?
My brother, Mark Goodnight bought me a bred gilt to start my FFA SAE project when I was in 8th grade. As a family, we raised and showed Berkshire breeding stock all throughout my youth. We remain active with Berkshires today - not breeding as many sows as in the past, but still showing open gilts as often as possible.

What are some likes or dislikes you have?
I dislike mean people who don't give grace to others. I really love kindness and being able to see the good in people.

Brush or Towel?
I'm old school - sticking with the brush.  

Favorite Food or Restaurant?
All kinds of ice cream or frozen custard. The best places are the small town ice cream shops that are only open in the summer.

Purdue men's basketball and Oklahoma State Cowboy football!
