If you could build a show barn of your dreams what are a few things you would include?
Self cleaning pens and a flat screen

If you could only drink one thing the rest of your life other than water what would you choose?
I should probably say Iced Tea but a margarita on the beach sounds good.

Do you have any superstitions? Show Day superstitions?
No not really, I'm usually so amped up and focused on the details I need a little music to calm down.

What's one piece of advice another fellow judge or mentor has given you about judging that has stuck with you?
Dr. Brett Kaysen was my judging coach at Colorado State and gave me lots of good advice. One specific one was to always show up early to the event and make sure to give every exhibitor an honest and professional opinion of their stock no matter where they placed.

Who's one judge you would tell a kid interested in judging to go listen to their reasons?
Dr. Mark Hoge obviously comes to mind because he is well versed, entertaining and a great livestock mind. However I observed Steve Cobb years ago at WPX and because of his description and accuracy it became very apparent he was a true stockman. It has stuck with me for years.
