What was your favorite thing about this stock show/trip?
My favorite thing about the Southeast Regional was being able to reconnect with friends I hadn’t seen in a long time that live in different states.

What was one thing you tried different with your project this year?
With my project this year we decided to start training and working with the pigs at an even earlier age than we usually do. I think this extremely helped my pigs be more comfortable around me and walk the way I wanted them too. I also broke my foot at the very beginning of winter so I wasn’t able to train my pigs the way I usually do. I have lots of people who were by my side helping me through my injury.

What is your favorite show product to use?
My favorite show product to use is probably Champion Pepi or Glitter Dust.

What is your favorite brand of show jeans or show shoes?
I love my “Hey Dude” shoes! They are very comfortable and my favorite jeans brand is “7 For All Mankind.”

On the way to the show I am...
On the way to the show I usually am very excited to see my friends, and be able to show. I also get quite nervous as well.

What is one last minute thing you do before entering the ring?
One last minute thing I always do before I enter the ring is have a little pep talk with the pig I am about to show. I always give them a good scratch on the head and tell them that we can do this.
