With this being one of the major shows of the summer, explain how excited were you to take home a Top 5?
After the amount of work put in at home, and all the extra time to try our best to perfect everything, this win was big. As a family, we were excited to not only get in the grand drive but to bring home reserve grand cross gilt.

What was something new you tried this year since you were able to be home more often than normal?
There is no doubt - we spent more time out the barn, because need I say quarantine was boring. As far as new went, we stuck to our same tried and true routine.

What is your favorite show product to use?
We absolutely love sureshine for that showring glow that doesn’t make our pigs hot!

When I grow up I want to be....
I am currently a student at Oklahoma State Iniversity majoring in Animal Science Biotechnology! I plan to pursue a career in large animal medicine or genetics.

Showing animals has helped me to develop......
There is no way to describe what the livestock industry has done for me. I fully attribute the person I am today to showing animals. Without them I wouldn’t have the drive, passion, dedication, or lifetime friends I have today!

What's your favorite Barn Chore:
Walking is by far my favorite chore!

Who is the person you look to for advice right before you go in the ring for that last minute pep talk or pointer:
My sister and my dad! They have both stood outside the ring and watched every time I show. Me and Hallie love giving each other tips especially in showmanship.

Favorite Celebration Restaurant after a good day at the show:
In Des Monies, it’s definitely Zombie Burger!
