With this uncertainty of this year's show season, explain how excited were you to win your state fair/show?
I was very excited to be able to have the Champion Crossbred barrow at the NJSA SW Regional and the Reserve Overall Market hog at the Kansas State Fair with the same pig, especially with the uncertainty of being able to show. Being able to show this year has been a challenge, however getting to show at two of our biggest shows of the year and having great success made all the of stress worth it.
What was something new you tried this year since you were able to be home more often than normal?
Since there were no in person shows, I entered several virtual shows for the first time. Although it wasn't what I was used to, I was excited to still have the opportunity to show.
