 How long of a drive was it?
4.5 hours
Favorite thing about the trip?
Scaring my mom with a snake on the way there, the volleyball tournament, and as always hanging out with my friends from across the country!
Do you have superstitions?
I’ve been showing with the same brush for 7 years. It says Ella and was made my Jay Winter

Any blue shirt, striped or solid.

Jimmy Juice

Who did you enjoy seeing the most at the show?
Cooper Lemons and Guy Hayes.

Tell us a little bit about your champion:
She came from Beyers Farms, IL. This was the first duroc gilt I've shown, she was crazy so we named her Ruth!

 With this being one of the major shows of the summer, explain how excited were you to take home a Top 5?
The most exiting part of this major show was just being able to show. You’ve been working all year and you finally have a place to exhibit your animals. Being Reserve Crossbred Barrow was just a little icing on the cake!
What was something new you tried this year since you were able to be home more often than normal?
We experimented more with different skin and hair products.
What is your favorite show product to use?
My two absolute favorite products definitely have to be Rejuvenate by Sullivan Supply and Pre Show by Weaver Livestock
 When I grow up I want to be....
something in the ag field.
Showing animals has helped me to develop......
