How long of a drive was it?
The exposition is about an hour from my house so it makes it nice not having to travel as far in the heat.
Favorite thing about the trip?
My favorite thing about the trip was probably the conversations between the family driving to the show weather it be something serious or not it was a very entertaining car ride.
Do you have superstitions? I’m not one that is very superstitious but I used the same exact brush and same exact whip at the show that I used at home because I knew they were Doug’s favorite.
Favorite show shirt?
My favorite show shirt is my blue checkered short sleeve polo for two reason it’s fits the best and it doesn’t show the sweat near as much.
Favorite product used on your animal?
My favorite product that I used Doug was probably Jimmy Juice. It kept his skin and hair healthy while always making him shine.
Favorite celebration restaurant?
With only being an hour from the show we usually wait to celebrate when we get home. But the restaurant I like to celebrate the most at is a little tavern in the small town of Williamson.
Who did you enjoy seeing the most at the show?
I don’t think there is one person that enjoyed seeing the most but I did enjoy seeing all my friends from other states and just enjoying the time at the show.
Favorite gas station food on a road trip:
My favorite gas station food has to be the Philly cheese steak tornado from quick trip.
Tell us a little bit about your champion:
The barrows name is Doug. He was pretty easy going and very fun one to have in the barn to say the least. He is one my family and I will always remember not only because he was a champion but he was the first ever purebred influenced pig to make the top five overall in the crossbred barrow or gilt show. Doug was definitely one of a kind.
