We caught up with Ms. Claire Bobell, exhibitor of the 3rd Overall Purebred Gilt at The Exposition, Reserve Purebred Gilt at Team Purebred National Junior Show, and the 4th Overall Purebred Gilt at National Junior Summer Spectacular. Learn a little more about Claire below!

How long of a drive was it?
4 1/2 hrs to Des Moines, 20 minutes to Springfield and 5 hrs to Louisville

Favorite thing about the trip?
Seeing friends from all over the country.

Do you have superstitions?
I always show with my Claire brush that Jay Winter made for me.

Favorite show shirt?
Green Striped Polo Shirt

Favorite product used on your animal?
Jimmy juice and Rejuvinate shampoo. They are go to products.

Favorite celebration restaurant?
801 Chophouse or The Big Steer.

Who did you enjoy seeing the most at the show?
I’m very social. I enjoy walking around and talking with people from all over the country.

Favorite gas station food on a road trip:
Casey’s breakfast pizza or a Starbucks coffee drink.

Tell us a little bit about your champion:
I have never shown a spot gilt before so I was excited for the challenge. She fed so awesome and was the only purebred gilt to be in the top 5 at all 3 national shows!
She had a stubborn attitude just like me!!
