With this being one of the major shows of the summer, explain how excited were you to take home a Top 5?
It feels really good to grab a top 5 spot at this high of a level. This has been a big goal of mine for the past 3 years and knowing my hard work has paid off makes it even better!

What was something new you tried this year since you were able to be home more often than normal?
This year I decided to show a steer at my local county fair, since I had a little extra time on my hands.

What is your favorite show product to use?
I really like using legends choice for skin and hair. Another product I really like is s'more fill from Sunglow.

When I grow up I want to be....
When I grow up I want to be an agricultural communications director.

Showing animals has really helped me to develop a strong work ethic and a sense of passion for something you love to do!

What's your favorite Barn Chore:
My favorite barn chore is night time feeding and washing.

Who is the person you look to for advice right before you go in the ring for that last minute pep talk or pointer:
At jackpot shows every weekend it is Eric or Megan McAlexander. But at the national shows it's always Jonathan Triggs or Austin Lane. With that being said, my mom usually gets the last words before I head in the ring, which is "love you carles, go kick butt!"
