What's next for your operation?
It’s about time to start selling fall babies and make breeding decisions for the stuff we’ll sell next spring.  It doesn’t seem like we ever get much time to rest in this business!  I should probably also finish our new sow barn someday….

Duroc

Who was someone who helped you get your foot in the door and get your operation started?
There are lots of people that help you along the way and you don’t even know they are. My parents gave me the opportunity from a young age to raise and show pigs.  As for outside our family, Jon Althaus saw something in a Central Illinois farm boy that had shown some nice pigs at the Illinois State Fair and gave me the opportunity to prove that I belonged on the Lake Land Judging team.  Those two years will always be something I think of that was a big step in helping me get to where we are today.
